Here at Creekwood Dental, we do take-home trays. It’s the teeth whitening technique that I prefer. We will provide patients with custom-made trays, and then we’ll provide them with the bleach to bleach at home. Everything you can…you know, whether the in-office to the take-home, you can get the exact same results. I believe that the take-home is a better option. Because you have less sensitivity, you have more control over the process than when you go into an office and sit with a light shining at your teeth for an hour. A lot of times, those in-office treatments, the light dries out your teeth. And so your teeth look brighter than they actually really are just because they’re dehydrated. And so a lot of times offices will say, here, come, you know, we’ll give you trays so you can continue bleaching at home. And what happens is your teeth are very sensitive when you leave and then you go home and you bleach at home so you can get the results that you wanted when we can do all of that at a lower cost. And without the sensitivity and you can treat it and do treatment at home.
